Switzerland | June to September
ALPINE WALKING RETREAT - Spa Based

Wellness and Walking in the Alps
Not every adventure has to be high altitude and high tempo. One of our more relaxed options includes staying in a Swiss hotel with spa facilities, perfectly positioned beside mountain lifts for easy access to stunning alpine trails. Each day can feature guided walks tailored to the group’s goals—ranging from gentle scenic strolls to more challenging hikes for those who want to push themselves. It’s an ideal blend of fresh air, movement, and mountain comfort.

ACCOMMODATION & FOOD
This trip has us staying in a welcoming alpine hotel in the traditional village of Grimentz. Expect comfortable en-suite rooms, wooden interiors, and balconies that offer sweeping views of the surrounding mountains and forests.
After each day’s hike, you can unwind in the hotel’s small wellness area, which typically includes a sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi—perfect for soothing tired legs and recharging for the next day’s adventure.
Meals reflect the rich culinary traditions of the Valais region. Breakfasts are generous, often featuring fresh bread, mountain cheeses, fruit, and muesli. Evening meals are typically multi-course, blending Swiss alpine flavours with Mediterranean influences and made using seasonal, regional ingredients. The kitchen is happy to cater for all dietary requirements—we enquire regarding the dietary requirements of members in advance, and they are always well looked after!

You must have valid travel insurance to join the trip, covering overseas medical treatment, evacuation, and the activities in this itinerary (e.g. 3000m mountains). Personal liability, cancellation, curtailment, and loss of luggage or personal items insurance also recommended.

WEATHER ETC
Weather or other unforeseen circumstances may lead to changes in itinerary. Such alterations are beyond our control. We will do our best to adapt plans accordingly, but participants must understand that flexibility is required & accept that some aspects of trip may be altered.
